General Member / User Guidance
Please turn up on time to your activity as we wish to avoid long queues.
Our staff will be doing their best to keep everyone safe. Please be respectful of our rules and team members.
Please check our website/social media channels or contact our helpline for timetables and booking instructions before leaving home and your return. All available activities will be bookable in advance via our online booking portal. Please note turn up and play is not in operation at the current time.
Changing facilities, toilets and showers will be available to members and customers from 31 May.
Check for any specific instructions for parking and access times and plan travel arrangements and your journey accordingly for your pre-booked access time.
Ensure you have any booking confirmation required with you on arrival.
Whilst in the building and activity area, please follow our guidance on social distancing, direction of travel and other risk minimising control measures that we have put in place.
Use hand sanitiser stations on arrival and when entering your specific activity area.
Please feel free to bring along your own hand sanitiser to help us maintain clean environments.
Please follow our one-way entry systems to your specific activity areas and maintain a safe distance from other users as indicated.
Bring your own water bottles, this also includes when using the pool during your swim, refreshments will not be available at this time from the centres.
Once you have finished your session, leave the facility as soon as you can following the direction exit routes.
Do not make physical contact with other members, customers or staff.
Please be aware that there may be pinch points within the centre where 2m social distancing cannot be maintained and these will be indicated.
Please do not loiter in any area unless waiting for entry into your specific activity zone and maintain a safe distance away from other users.
Swimming Guidance
All available sessions are listed online and must be booked in advance via our online portal.
If you are swimming, changing facilities will still be available for those that require it.
Changing facilities, toilets and showers will be available to members and customers from 31 May.
Spend as little time as possible in the changing rooms, whilst following the guidance on maintaining safe levels of distancing.
Respect people of different standards and abilities that will use the pool. Please respect their right to enjoy their swim.
Please use the lane you have booked using the fast, medium, and relaxed as indicated by the signs. Please do not overtake whilst swimming. Before pushing off at each turn, check to see if anyone faster is approaching.
Please follow the directional signs and move across to the appropriate side of the lane for each length.
Always attempt to maintain appropriate social distance between yourself and another swimmer.
If you change to a slower stroke as part of your session, think about whether you may need to move lanes and please do not hinder others within your lane.
Whether stopping for a rest or catching your breath after completing your swim, please be mindful that others using the lane will want to keep on swimming without stopping; so keep yourself to the edge of the lane allowing others to turn at the wall, turning head away and allowing others to maintain social distancing measures.
Please bring any equipment/aids with you (floats, kick boards etc.) ensuring it is clean and identifiable as yours before you arrive. Items left will be removed and destroyed.
Please note: Only the Main Pool is open at this time, small/training pool remain closed until further notice.
Swim School Guidance
Due to the current situation, we have made some adjustments to our Swim School programme in line with Swim England guidance and PHE Guidelines to ensure our facilities are COVID safe and provide the best opportunity for your child to restart their aquatic development with us.
Please be aware that although we have put precautionary measures in place there is always a risk and we ask our customers to assist us in maintaining the highest possible cleaning and hygiene standards.
Bank / School Holidays: Please note that Swim School lessons are not affected by the coming bank and school holidays with lessons continuing as normal. If your lessons are normally on a Monday, they will take place at the same time as usual on the bank holidays: Monday 3 May or Monday 31 May. During school holidays, there is no change in times.
General Guidance

Please do not arrive too early as access to the facilities is time-restricted at present. We ask you arrive no more than 5 minutes prior to your lesson.

To speed up entry please have your membership cards available.
QR codes for NHS Track and Trace are situated around the centre.

Stay hydrated by bringing your own ‘pre-filled’ water bottle during your activity. Refreshments will not be available at this time from the centres.

Swim School Specific
We have adjusted and staggered start times of lessons as well as reduce numbers in the classes to allow for Social Distancing. You can check your child's classes online by logging into the Swim School Portal: https://yourleisure.courseprogress.co.uk/

Only one adult per child will be permitted entry and we ask that you accompany your child through to the swimming pool and remain with them on poolside for the duration of their lesson and leave promptly. We ask the adult to bring with them suitable footwear (Flip Flop or Sliders) to wear when on poolside to assist us with maintaining cleanliness, however, shoe covers will be available.
Adults and children 11 years and over should wear face coverings when entering the Leisure Centre’s. The child can take them off at the start of their activity but these must be worn by the accompanying adult at all times within the Leisure Centres unless exempted. We also request whilst on poolside adults wear suitable face coverings.
We also ask adults to supervise their child and assist in ensuring that they adhere to social distancing restriction when not under the supervision of the instructor.
Please bring your swim hats and goggles with you to your lessons. Goggles can now be purchased at the check in, card payment only.. If children cannot put hats and goggles on themselves, we ask adults to assist with this as our teachers will not be permitted to do so.
On arrival at the centre please report to the check in desk which is located at the entrance where you will be checked in for your lesson. Please arrive 5 minutes before your lesson time and have your child "Beach Ready", swimsuit/costume on underneath clothing to assist with minimising the time in the changing rooms. Changing rooms are not available before the lesson only to change quickly, after the lesson, showers are not available at this time.
Changes to the way we teach include the teacher being on the side on the pool for the duration of the lesson.
Social distancing is to be upheld at all possible points within the visit to the centre.
Please be aware that because of the current situation all future payments will need to be made using our Direct Debit system. We will no longer be providing upfront payments, however, those that are still on this system will be credited for the time lost. Those swimmers whose payment are made through our Direct Debit system will automatically be reinstated with the 1st collection will be taken on the 15th of the month to allow for children to readjust to their lessons and time lost due to lockdown. First payment will be taken on 15 April with an adjustment for forced closure on Sunday 20 December 2020 Monday 4 January to Thursday 14 January 2021.
Please note: Prepaid lesson for Monday 11 January, Tuesday 12 January & Wednesday 13 January will be credited to Monday 12 April, Tuesday 13 April & Wednesday14 April, respectively.
Please follow the one-way system around the poolside to your designated teaching zone which will be given to you on arrival and marked on poolside.

Gym Guidance
All session will be bookable online and numbers for each session will be restricted to comply with social distancing requirements.
All sessions will be a max of 90-minute duration.
The gym will be cleaned at the end of each sessions, we do also ask members to assist and clean down machines prior to and after use with the equipment provided.
Changing facilities, toilets and showers will be available to members and customers from 31 May.
Some equipment will have moved and/or be taken out of use to assist with social distancing requirement. Where equipment cannot be moved these will be paired/zoned and therefore only one person can access the specific workout zone at one time.
As you move around the gym please maintain the flow which will be indicated by directional arrows on the floor.
Please take care and be courteous to others and maintain a safe distance from other users.
‘Spotting’ is prohibited at this time and therefore please choose a weight that you can manage comfortably yourself or substitute free weight activity for like-for-like resistance machines.
On completion of your session please ensure you have completed your workout as readmission into the activity area will not be permitted.
Please exit through the designated exit point which will be different from the entry into the building. Please familiarise yourself with the exit route however directional signage will be displayed to return to your familiar point of entry.
As the weather has now become autumnal, Members are can take their coats around with them in the gym but we request that you keep your personal items to a minimum.
Group-Ex Classes Guidance
Group-Ex is back. Login into your members area to view classes and times. All members will need to book online in advance to attend.
All classes will be held in the Sports Halls and will be of 45-minute duration. Group-Ex classes are set to return to the studios with expanded programmes on 2 August.
Class participation spaces will be numbered, and members are to fill up the space in numerical order associated to your queuing arrangements starting from 1-2-3 etc. No spaces will be able to be saved for other users.
Changing facilities, toilets and showers will be available to members and customers from 31 May.
Small items associated with Group-Ex classes will no longer be provided such boxing mits/gloves, mats, yoga blocks and other small handheld items. Should you require these customers should bring their own equipment.
We will still be providing larger equipment such as BodyPump bars and weights, dumbbells, step blocks and FightKlub bags which will be sanitised after each session.
Where equipment is provided this should be collected on entry into the activity zone as we will be operating a strict one-way system and users will not be able to return to equipment collection points.
On completion of the class all equipment should be left within your activity zone.
Please exit through the designated exit point which will be different from the entry into the building. Please familiarise yourself with the exit route however directional signage will be displayed to return to your familiar point of entry.
FeelGood Guidance
All session will be bookable online and numbers for each session will be restricted to comply with social distancing requirements.
The normal circuit will be in operation and will be 36-minutes duration, the time between each bookable circuit has been extended to ensure social distancing.
Teams will be cleaning equipment on the circuit, but we also ask that members to assist and clean down machines prior to and after use with the equipment provided.
Please take care and be courteous to others and maintain a safe distance from other users.
On completion of your circuit please ensure you have completed your workout as readmission into the activity area will not be permitted.
Please exit through the designated exit point which may be different from the entry into the building. Please familiarise yourself with the exit route however directional signage will be displayed to return to your familiar point of entry.
Your Spa Guidance
All treatments are only available by advance booking online. Please be advised that walk-in appointments are not available at this current time.
Spa Day Packages/Voucher holders, please email info@yourspa.uk.com to book.
All therapist have been allocated a specific treatment room to minimize cross contamination and this is cleaned and sanitised between every treatment. Please note that Dual treatments are unavailable at this time.
Appointment times will be staggered so please arrive at appointment time to ensure social distancing measures are maintained. Due to strict Covid-19 cleaning protocol, late arrivals will not be accommodated.
A consultation form inclusive of a Covid-19 questionnaire must be completed prior to your treatment. Failure to complete may result in your booking being cancelled.
All appointments are required to be on a one-to-one basis. Please contact us in advance if you need to be accompanied due to a health condition via email to: info@yourspa.uk.com
Your Therapist will be wearing appropriate PPE (I.e. Face coverings, disposable aprons, gloves where possible).
Important Note: Your Spa requires customers to wear a face covering which we will provide customers with upon arrival. These will be pre-sanitised and disposable following your visit. Please note we will not be able to permit customers to wear their own face covering during treatments.
Prior to entering our treatment rooms, please ensure that you have sanitise your hands.
On arrival you will be met by your therapist who will assist you to your treatment room.
To ensure social distancing requirements are met, there will be a limit of 8 people within the Thermal Spa facilities at one time. Capacity per area is as stated below:
- Foot Baths – 2
- Sauna – 2
- Crystal Steam Room – 2
- Salt Room – 1
- Hydro-Pool – 2
- Relaxation Area – 4
- Relaxation Room – 4
Please ensure that you use the Thermal Spa facilities within a rotation of no more than 10 minutes per area, avoiding face-to-face contact.
Please follow our safe seating guides whilst using our Thermal Spa facilities to meet social distancing requirements.

Active4Life Guidance
All classes must be booked online; however, with some restrictions on the number of classes we ask members to book sensibly so that we do not have to bring in further restrictions on booking availability.
We hope that the current class programme will be expanded within our phased re-opening, once we understand the availability requirements of our new programme and further Government lifting of current requirements.
All classes will be held in the sports halls and will be of 45-minute duration.
The sports hall may be chilly so we recommend wearing layers and then taking them off as you warm up.

Though the class may not follow the old circuit style, you will still do intermittent cardiovascular and resistance exercise with alternatives and adaptations as much as possible, and each exercise will still be timed for one minute or so.
Please also note that the equipment previously utilised will not be available and the structure of the class will be altered to accommodate the current restrictions.
We will still be providing limited larger equipment such as barbells, dumbbells bars and weights, step blocks and which will be sanitised after each session.
However, we do encourage you to bring your own if you have any. Please bring your own resistance band if you have one, or a scarf or towel. Please bring your own cushion or sponge ball that you can use for certain exercises.
Other items such mats, yoga blocks, bands will no longer be provided. Should you require these please bring your own equipment.
Where equipment is provided this should be collected on entry into the activity zone as indicated by your instructor as we will be operating a strict one-way system and users will not be able to return to equipment collection points.
At the end of the session you will be asked to sanitise the equipment that you have used using anti bacterial wipes provided. Your support with this is much appreciated
On completion of the class all equipment should be left within your activity zone.

Please also note that assessments that had previously been completed will no longer take place however your instructor will advise on how you can self-assess (i.e. take your own pulse etc.) where necessary.
The class format will have changed. Please appreciate we are operating under COVID compliant rules and we appreciate your understanding and support with all the changes, which are designed to keep you safe.
Sports Hall
Regular Sports Hall activities are set to return from 2 August 2021 when Group-Ex classes move back into the studios.
